Introduction：

The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th International Symposium on Carbon for Catalysis (CarboCat IV) to be held in Dalian, China, November 7-10, 2010.

Carbon has been widely used in industry as adsorbents and catalyst supports. The discovery of carbon nanofibers and nanotubes aroused a surge of research interests all over the world. The recent successful exfoliation of graphene, the basic element of carbon allotropes, has triggered another research surge and undergone fast development. This meeting will cover both fundamentals and practical applications of carbon materials for catalysis. More specifically, the following 5 topics will be included but not limited. It is expected to provide you with a comprehensive knowledge about leading-edge developments in this field.
